Why improve dissipation

When an MPPT controller operates for extended periods, the internal temperature increases. Victron MPPT Large devices can operate between -30°C and +60°C, but full nominal power is maintained up to 40°C. Above this temperature, heat can affect available performance. In practice, this means that better thermal dissipation helps to dissipate heat more effectively, reduce thermal stress on the equipment, and promote more stable operation in demanding installations or those with limited ventilation.
