Why is ventilation important?
The MultiPlus-II generates heat during charging and inverting. In installations, adequate ventilation is key to prevent power reductions or shutdowns due to overheating and to ensure maximum system efficiency.
According to Victron's datasheet for 5kva, continuous output power is reduced according to heat: Continuous output power at 25 ºC = 4 kW Continuous output power at 40 ºC = 3.7 kW Continuous output power at 65 ºC = 3 kW
