Why is ventilation important?

The MultiPlus-II generates heat during charging and inversion. In installations, adequate ventilation is key to preventing power reductions or shutdowns due to overheating and ensuring maximum system efficiency.

According to the Victron datasheet for 5kva, continuous output power is reduced according to heat:
Continuous output power at 25 °C = 4 kW
Continuous output power at 40 °C = 3.7 kW
Continuous output power at 65 °C = 3 kW
